Is it against the “law” of the web to use a different color link in an email or on a website? What could be the punishment?

The punishment would be solitary confinement. The crime? Making people stumble as they stroll thru The Information Highway. [Another thought to keep you awake: When did we stop using “The Information Highway”? And what in blazes is the “interweb” I ask you. ]
