The Sarasota Tech Users Group is actually a bit of a misnomer nowadays. Thanks to the universality of Zoom, we have members from all over. You can participate in almost all of our benefits no matter wherein the world you are.
All of our presentations and classes are on Zoom; most are recorded for viewing at your leisure, and our award-winning member newsletter, The Monitor, is emailed every month to you.
Yes, we were founded in 1982 in Sarasota Florida as the ManaSota IBM-PC User Group, expanded since to incluse our MAC/Linux members, and continually evolving thanks to our members’ volunteer efforts. And yes, our Refurb Project is physically in Sarasota, but where YOU are is not an issue with joining us!
